For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
Is there anyone in the western world who is not familiar with this verse? We see it on church billboards, in sporting events, on tracts, and on posters, in the cities, in country villages, on buses and trains, we hear it on the radio, on TV... These words have become so prevalent in our era that few people stop to think about the message they contain. Three words from this verse form the title of this little booklet in which the gospel, pure and simple, is the theme. The author draws on numerous other references in the Bible to present God's message clearly and from several different angles. There is no need or attempt to explain or excuse; God So Loved (II) is merely a signpost indicating the direction in which to go in order to discover this ultimate truth.
