Christianity is distinguished from all the religions of the world because of the experience of being born again. This is what makes Christianity completely different from any religion. Various explanations of the expression "born again" have been offered over the years from various sources, sometimes leaving an individual confused as to what Jesus could possibly have meant. In the Bible, God tells us, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts" (Isaiah 55:8-9).
